Len has been Chairman of Lynx Network Services, Inc. since 1976. He has more than 35 years of management and professional experience in information systems and telecommunications.
He specializes in strategic and tactical aspects of global networking for carriers and enterprise users. He is recognized for his experience with telecom market issues including new services development, infrastructure, the economics of global networks and rates for telecommunication capacity and services.
Since 2005 he has led a group of LYNX senior telecom executives in the development of service offerings in the wireless and mobile telecommunications market for enterprise companies.
Len has worked with the senior management at AT&T in the strategy and economics of its ventures with IBM and BT-Concert. Additionally, he has worked on the development of strategy and pricing and the rollout of new services for BT, France Telecom, Infonet, NTT-Japan, France Telecom, and Equant.
He has been responsible for managing large-scale projects in conjunction with the development of global networks for Alcatel, Bank of America, Barclay's Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, Citibank, IBM and IBM-Advantis, ITT, VISA International, and many other enterprise companies.
Over the past ten years Len has managed numerous projects for The U.S. Department of State in the redesign and development of their global diplomatic network. He has worked on several projects for various government vendors and intelligence organizations and holds a top secret clearance from the U.S. Government.
He has also provided assistance for numerous clients in the preparation of RFP's for global network services, selection and negotiation of contracts with winning carriers. These services have been provided for many of the major business consulting companies for their own networks including Arthur Andersen, BearingPoint, McKinsey & Co., and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
From 2000 to 2002, Len was Chairman of the Dow Jones Fiber Optic Index Committee which was responsible for the development of a series of indices for measurement of changes in the price of fiber optic cable worldwide.
Early in his career he was an analyst for the New York Stock Exchange and participated in the development of the first automated trade reporting system driving a national network for distribution of online market data.
